A story from Andreas

An American man - it doesn’t have to be an American man but we’ll say he’s American - walks up to a Greek fisherman. The fisherman sits by the side of the water, smoking a cigarette. He is content.

“Good day for fishing?” asks the American.

“Yes, yes, a very fine day for fishing,” replies the Greek.

“Well why aren’t you fishing in that case? You could catch a lot of fish today. If you repeat the kind of catch you could get today every day, you could sell enough fish to buy a second boat, and then you could catch even more fish—maybe even enough to buy a third boat! You could have a whole fleet of boats. And then you’d be wealthy, and you’d be able to sit and relax and enjoy life.”

“Sit and relax and enjoy life?” replies the Greek, “I’m doing that now.”
